Black History Month
February is known as Black history month. We will be working on a project (2 parts) to recognize and honor african americans that have helped shape the history of our country.
In this project you will be choosing, researching, and completing a project on one African American person.

Text -
Turn your notes into complete sentences using your own words.
Make sure you check spelling (tools, spelling), capitalization of proper nouns, and punctuation for each sentence.
Choose a font style and size that is easy to read.
Design -
Make sure any background colors and font colors do not clash and can be read easily.
Leave room for a picture on each page.
Pictures -
Use "insert image" to safely find images sorted by Google that are free to use. **Notice this does not mean the pictures all come from "Google" - click on the + button and the link provided to copy and paste the link to each picture for your sources. There is no need to search directly from a new tab open to the internet.
Do not use pictures as backgrounds.
Limit: one picture per page for this project.
