Respecting diversity
Respecting Diversity
People in our school, town, state, and world are all diverse or different from one another. Our differences should be celebrated because we are each special and unique. Today you'll get to learn from kids just like you who have written speeches about the topic of diversity and recorded their own "TED Talk" videos. Think about these questions as you watch the following videos....
*What are some ways people are alike no matter who they are?
*What are some ways that we are different from one another?
*Why is it important to respect everyone no matter what their differences are and not judge others?
After you are finished watching the videos, go to the Media Google Classroom and find the "Respecting Diversity" assignment.
